This amazing spa is set in the serene country setting just outside the trout village of Dullstroom and guests are pampered in an extraordinary environment to a holistic, organic wellness experience.
Meals and beverages form part of the treatment packages and selected with the organic content uppermost in mind. The agriculture practiced on the estate, which presently focuses mainly on lavender and rosemary cultivation, is also conducted through firm organic principles. The oils distilled from the harvested plants are used in the treatments offered and this enhances the unique experience associated with the spa.
When the owner planned and constructed the spa it was important, where possible, to integrate this organic approach in all stages of the building process, from concept design, through technical phases, to site management, the organic spa complex and treatment areas were designed to incorporate traditional building techniques, integrating locally sourced rock, natural paints and organically oiled woods and finishing was also used, using traditional procedures and products with a minimal environmental footprint. There is a heated pool in the main area offering incredible views with double volume glass doors and windows.
General Information:
• Therapies include hydrotherapies including flotation tank, body therapies, and facial therapies. Spiritual regeneration, holistic treatments, kid`s treatments and various day treatments.
• The spa is situated on 113 ha of grassland with rolling hills, stunning views and 2 dams.
• The spa is located on the ground floor of in an amazing single building incorporating a residential unit on the second and 3rd floor which is ideally suited to convert into a boutique hotel. The spa and residential unit or boutique hotel offer views across the valley and of the Steenkampsburg mountains.
